"Wu" (五), five; "shu" (樞), pivot or axis. The acupoint is located between Tianshu (ST25) and Bishu (GB30), and is situated among the five acupoints on lateral abdomen (Jingmen (GB25), Daimai (GB26), Wushu, Weidao (GB28), and Juliao (ST3)), hence the name.
