bubble_chart Etymology
Chinese medicine calls the first thoracic vertebra Yizhui and the fifth lumbar vertebra Shiqizhui (EX-B8). The acupoint is under its spinous process, so it is named Shiqizhui (EX-B8).
In the lumbar tendon membrane, supraspinal ligament and interspinous ligament; there are posterior branches of lumbar artery; medial branches of posterior branches of lumbar nerve and interspinous subcutaneous nerve plexus.
Perpendicular insertion 1.5~2 cun.
Lumbosacral pain, leg pain, dysmenorrheal, menorrhagia and metrostaxis, enuresis.
